Little Looster Review

I HAVE to tell you all about this awesome product we recently had the opportunity to review.  Talker Man, as some of you may remember, potty trained right around Easter.  This was great and all, except he had trouble with the regular sized toilet.  It would hurt his legs and he didn't like using it, so he kept using the "little potty" which I absolutely despise.  Really, who likes to clean that thing out?  Anyway, when I was approached to review a Little Looster toilet stool I was more than excited.  Finally, a stool that was bigger than the size of a postage stamp, yet not in the way!

The Little Looster is an American made product, created by a mother of 3 in Oregon.  This is a huge positive for me, I prefer to buy products made in the USA (or Canada ;) ).

The Little Looster stool wraps around your toilet creating more surface area for little feet to rest while your little one is doing their potty business.  It's sturdy and it's wide enough for them to easily stand up on and be able to turn around on safely.

As you can see, it fits nicely around the toilet.  You don't technically even have to move it for anyone else to use the toilet.  It's a little wide for me to use without moving it, but it's in the main bathroom and I don't generally use that one anyway.  Hubby can just sort of straddle it, he says it's no big deal and a lot easier than a stool that sticks out farther.

Talker Man really likes it, he can put his feet wherever they're comfortable.  When he gets up his little legs don't have the red marks that they would if he sat too long with the typical stool (which his feet could not reach).  Clean up is easy too, I was a little worried because the "L" pattern is raised, I figured it would catch all kinds of "misses", but it's not a problem.  I just stick it in the tub, run over it with a scrub brush and it cleans up beautifully!  While I was cleaning it, I happened to look at the bottom and this sucker can hold weight up to 200 pounds!  That's pretty impressive, I could stand on it and have no issues, so that's great when I'm trying to reach the top shelf of the cabinet.   

In our house, we also use the stool for brushing teeth.  We've found that it works GREAT to turn it around, place the flat side against the sink base and he has more surface area to stand!
