What a weekend!!

This weekend was eventful, to say the least!  On Friday, hubby and I got our first "date afternoon" since Tiny Man was born (yes, that's pitiful, ;) ).  We took the kid's over to my aunt & uncle's house to play with the cousins and went to T.G.I. Fridays!  Yum, yum, YUM.  That's our favorite place to go and we haven't been there since Talker Man was in his infant bucket, crazy how time flies!  After a delicious lunch, we walked around the mall for a couple of hours.  We didn't really spend any money, hubby got a new hat and a case for his phone, but that's about it, we were good ;)

After I was worn out from walking the mall, we headed next door to Target to grab some essentials (mostly for the cats) and walk around a little bit more.  I freaking love Target, it's my favorite store and we since we moved and no longer have one close, we don't make it there very often.

We went back, picked up the kiddos and headed home.  Hubby headed out for a guys night and the kids played for awhile while I started work.  All was fine for a couple of hours until Tiny Man started to get super fussy!  I picked him up and he was HOT.  My poor little guy had started running a fever :(.  Neither of the kids get sick very often, and this came up out of nowhere, he was fine one minute and burning up the next.  Poor baby :(  He and I ended up being up almost all night long, he couldn't sleep because he didn't feel good, and I couldn't sleep because he was up and didn't feel good.  This went on all of Friday night and all day Saturday.  This morning, he woke up fever-free!  Whatever it was seems to have worked it's way out for the most part, now here's hoping Talker Man stays healthy and doesn't 'catch' whatever freaky thing it was!

Our Friday date seems like it was about 30 years ago now, but I'm so glad we were able to do it, I had a blast and hubby did too.  Today, we don't really have anything planned...probably the cleaning that got neglected yesterday and I want to squeeze in some baking to help heat the house up a bit so we don't have to turn on the heater already.  Add that to being scheduled work in a few hours and my day is about full!  I'm going to try to get in another blog post, I have a couple of review/giveaways that I need to get up, but we'll see how that goes!  It may be tomorrow before I make it that far.
