IntelliCeuticals Review and Giveaway

IntelliCeuticals, by Intelligender, is a line of natural, healthy remedies for both mom and baby.

As per the company website, "IntelliCeuticals introduces the best natural remedies to help informed moms and their babies feel happy, healthy and ready for the world each day! Our herbal remedies are safe, effective solutions for the health and comfort of mothers-to-be."

They have several products that can be used before baby arrives, including elasti-oil (a topical oil to help with skin issues), baby's best milk drops (a breastfeeding stimulant), and episi-prep cream.  There are a few others as well, but you'll have to check those out for yourself. ;)

I had the chance to try out the episi-prep cream, but I didn't end up actually using it!  It was purely accidental, it was in my hospital bag to use before birth and I totally forgot that we brought it!  It can be used after birth as well, but I was lucky enough to not need stitches this time around.

The episi-prep cream is a 100% herbal formula containing Vitamin E oil, Gotu Kola, Comfrey essential oil, St. John's Wort, lavender essential oil, Pilewort, Silica and witch hazel.

The episi-prep cream can be used...
"Before birth and during the last few weeks of pregnancy Episi-Prep Cream can be massaged onto the perineal area, one to three times a day, helping to tone and prepare this area for the stretching it will experience during childbirth. After your baby is born, Episi-Prep Cream can be used as part of your post-birth recovery schedule to safely and effectively soothe the perineum.  After cleansing the area, gently apply once or twice a day."

I REALLY wish I'd remembered to use it, it sounds like it would be lovely!

There are also products that can be used after baby's arrival, including new mom rebalancing drops, which I also had the opportunity to try!

These drops are made with Don Quai, dill and ginger.  To use, you simply "add 15 drops of the remedy to approximately 1/4 cup just boiled water and allow to cool. Drink as is or, as an alternative, dilute further in water or juice. Use this mixture three times daily for 6-12 weeks after giving birth.  You will achieve the best results if the remedy is used regularly."

Now, I've been doing my best to do this the optimal 3 times a day, but most days it doesn't end up happening.  I can't tell you how well they work or what they really do for my body, I think I would be exhausted regardless of if I take them or not, these kiddos can run a mommy down some days!  I do know that I've felt better physically and feel "healed" and "back to normal" much faster than I did with the boys.  I'm only a couple of weeks into it though, I still have some weeks to continuing using the drops, so I'll have to let you know at the end of the 6-12 weeks how things are going!

The final IntelliCeuticals product I want to tell you about is the clear away cradle cream, which I think sounds like a wonder-product!  The boys both had awful cradle cap and I could never find anything natural enough for me to be comfortable using on their precious heads.  The clear away cradle cream is just what I was looking for!  Made with almond essential oil, marigold, Gotu Kola, and Heartsease, this 100% natural formula provides moisture to baby's tender scalp and reduces the look of dry and flaky skin.  I didn't get the opportunity to try this product myself, but one of you will!  Just check it out below!

You can now find Intelligender, the makers of IntelliCeuticals, on Facebook!

Buy It!
At this time, the above products, along with several others not mentioned, can be found and purchased on the IntelliCeuticals website.

As I mentioned, one of you awesome readers is going to win a tube of clear away cradle cream!  I have to say that I'm a teeny bit jealous!

my son had very bad cradle cap! Hoping to use this with baby #2 in the near future (should baby #2 have crqadle cap too) If not, then I will give it to a family member or friends. I always have a family member or friend who is expecting, or has a young child. haha.

I'm entering because my son just started getting cradle cap (even though he's just over 4 months old...I thought it usually appeared in newborns??? Oh well, doc says that's what it is!)
