With two babies now in cloth diapers, there's a new dilemma of what to do with all the dirties! The wet bag I had was small, it held about 5 one size diapers, which is nowhere NEAR what I now need! I was excited to have the opportunity to review a Planet Wise Hanging Wet/Dry Bag, and I was even MORE excited to learn that the size was one that would hold 20-24 diapers! Perfect!
As you can see, there is both a large "wet" opening AND a "dry" opening. The wet opening is lined and completely waterproof while the dry is a place you can store dry clothes, diapers, etc and keep everything all in one central location.
Planet Wise bags are made in the US and is the first and only bag to be innovatively sewn with hidden seams and sealed for no wicking or leaking. This process also seems to help with any smells that may try to escape. There's nothing that we've been able to throw in there that leads to a funky smell in the hallway when the bag is zipped up!
We were sent the above bag in the Midnight Curl pattern. I love how gender neutral and whimsical it is! There's a style and pattern for everyone!
We have ours hanging on the door to the laundry area, it's right between Tiny Man's room and Little Miss Princess' room, so it's in an easy to access place not only for tossing into the washer, but also because a baby won't be woken up by one of us going in there to toss a diaper in the bag.
That's about a day's worth of Little Miss Princess' tiny diapers and as you can see there's a TON of room in the bag! We can easily go 2 days of diapering before having to run a load. To be honest, we run out of diapers before we run out of room! I'm sure the days between having to wash will drop down to one when her diapers start to take up more room, but I'm okay with that! The Planet Wise wet bags are easy to maintain and wash, you simply pop them in with your diapers (or other laundry if you're not using them for diapers!) and wash/dry them as you normally would. There's no need for extra special care or worrying that something might happen if you don't wash it correctly.
Planet Wise makes more than just sized diapering wet bags. They also have swim bags, sandwich and snack bags and more! If you're trying to cut down on your plastic bag usage, Planet Wise has a solution for just about every need!
Buy It!The above hanging wet/dry bag can be purchased at any of the Planet Wise retailers for about $30. The other products I mentioned are also available on the retailer sites, so be sure to check them out!
