PeaWee Baby SwaddleBuddy Suit Review and Giveaway

My boys absolutely HATED to be swaddled.  Little Miss Princess is a completely different story!  During the day she has a "take it or leave it" kind of approach, but at night or after an especially long day out of the house, she just wants swaddled up nice and tight and to be cuddled up with mommy in the dark.

The swaddle sacks we have are a couple of freebies from the hospital.  It's a great brand, but she's already starting to outgrow them in length and she can always wiggle her hands out the top or bottom.  Not a big deal, but it frustrates her that she's starting to escape and doesn't REALLY want to.

We were sent a SwaddleBuddy Suit in pink (why would I choose any other color after having 2 boys??).  I really like the green too, but I digress!

I love that the SwaddleBuddy actually keeps baby swaddled.  There's an awesome hook and loop section that you can un-do to make diaper changes easier.  You don't have to completely unswaddle to change a diaper!  I can imagine this to be really useful when baby starts getting "curious" about diaper changes and starts grabbing around down there when there's a mess...at least with boys. ;)  Little Miss Princess isn't to that stage yet, but I'm sure it'll come!

I also like that the legs are free, I'm sure in the warmer months it will be nice to not have her swaddled up in a blanket, but even now it's nice because I can put her in some warm jammies or pants and be able to strap her (still swaddled) into her bouncy seat during the day while I'm working.

Warning: The picture below shows a 6-week-old, still sleeping after 7 hours of straight-through-the-night rest. Prepare to be jealous amazed.

It took me a couple of tries to really get the hang of it, using the video tutorial really helped me in this case.  Now I can swaddle her up quickly and problem-free!
