Happy Blankie

I came across a pretty amazing website last night. It's HappyBlankie.com and the "ONE to Love and ONE to Give," concept that was thought up by David, 7-year-old little boy, and his mom, Emily, in 2008.  I'm going to share with you the video; it explains better than I can and it's absolutely amazing.

I love that someone so small came up with something so big.  All children need something soft and cuddly, no matter who they are or where they live.  Many of us are SO blessed and we forget that sometimes the simple things are the things that others are going without.

There are several choices, from a frog to a dog, but I especially like the "Love" blankie.  It not only represents Happy Blankie, but it's absolutely adorable.  Made with minky and satin, it's every bit of what a cozy, comforting blankie should be!  I think this blankie would be an amazing baby shower gift.  You would be giving something to not only a friend or relative, but to a little boy or girl in need!  What a gift!

Buy It!
You can purchase Happy Blankies directly on their website.  Prices range from $32 (for the small/newborn size) to $128 (for the large).  You can even get it personalized with your little one's name for an additional $10!

Disclaimer: This is an UNsponsored post; I received no product and no compensation of any kind.  I just wanted to share the project and company with you!
