Link-Ups!

I apologize for the lack of posts this weekend, we had a really busy few days!  My car got all "gussied up" with new tires , fresh oil and "under the hood" stuff that I'm not entirely sure what all entailed.  We got out spoiled little boys a small flat panel TV because theirs was an energy hog and we're hoping to save money in the long run and keep it up where they can't actually reach it and we'll have more control as to how much it's on.  We also headed to hubby's parent's house for a get together and had a great time with the family.  All in all, it was a great weekend!

Crayola Color Twister Review

Talker Man LOVES to do art projects.  Seriously, we would be doing them all day long if it was up to him!  For his birthday, I used my Swagbucks-earned Amazon gift cards to get him a Crayola Color Twister Spin Art set.  I'll be honest, it reminded me of my childhood and a trip the Girl Scouts took to a local paint place that did the same thing on shirts.  Man, I loved that shirt!  Anyway...

Right out of the box, this was super simple to put together.  All that really needed done was taking off the cardboard and sticking the kid-powered spin button into the designated slot.  After that, you just add the provided paper to the spinner and start making some beautiful art!!

Just squeeze some paint onto the paper...

And spin!  I helped him spin the first few times, it was almost like the button was too new and stiff for him to push.  A few pushes and it loosened up enough and he had the hang of it.

Just repeat the steps as many times as you'd like!

It came with three colors, red, blue and yellow, which we had fun experimenting with to make what he called "new colors".

The suggested age on this was 6+ and he's only 4.  This wasn't a problem, he managed it just fine and was able to push the button and do his own paint.  He accidentally used more paint than was necessary, but it wasn't a big deal.  We had to clean out the spinner of the excess that hit the walls, but nothing "escaped" onto the table.

EdenFantasys - massage lotion review

Please note that this is a post for ADULTS.  All images are kid-safe, but links included in this post should be opened when the kids aren't in the room.

As I'm sure you figured out, one of our favorite online "couple" stores is EdenFantasys.com.  Last time we placed an order, hubby got in on the fun and picked a few things out.  In his shopping, he chose Passion Fruit Wet heating massage lotion.  We've tried other "flavored" or "heating" massage lotions in the past that were just gross, so I was a little nervous.  Much to my surprise, this is a VERY enjoyable product!  It was heating, not burning, it smelled amazing and I "bit the bullet" so to speak and gave it a taste.  Honestly, it's the first massage lotion we've found that actually tasted the way it claimed!

Hubby made a good choice and I'm happy to say it's one we would strongly recommend to anyone looking for this type of product!

It's almost the weekend!!

This week has gone MUCH better than last!  I accomplished some things and enjoyed my kiddos, went shopping a bit for Little Miss Princess and can't wait for her to wear her new clothes!  I'm combining my weekend hops into one post this week to try that out...I feel like my posts are all linkups over the weekends and I don't like having multiple posts to follow back, I swear I miss people every time!
