Huge-mongus thank you to the folks at Doodle Roll who sent us one of each size! You all have no idea what fights you helped me avoid between my two little artists.
The Doodle Roll is an awesome compact paper and crayons combination that keeps everything together for you in the handy little plastic container! The paper comes in a roll so it's always unwrinkled and fresh for doodling! There are 4 crayons that fit neatly next to the paper roll. The plastic keeps the paper clean and the crayons together and unbroken!
Little Man tested out the smaller 4" Doodle Roll -- this size is absolutely perfect for sticking in your purse or diaper bag for those unexpected waits that lead to bored kiddos.
As you can see, the paper isn't flimsy and can hold up to a 2 year old's coloring skills!
Talker Man tried out the 6" size, bigger kid, bigger paper -- his reasoning. The bigger size has double sided crayons! Pretty awesome, twice the colors in the same compact size!
Both boys LOVE the Doodle Roll, and this mommy loves that it's so easy to use. You can pull out as much paper as you want to, leaving the rest rolled up in the container. They quickly figured out how to tear it off, but if you want to, you can just roll it back up and not have any mess (just tear it off later, when you get home or wherever you may be headed!)

Wow I wish I had one of those. So compact that you can take anywhere. Would be perfect for a restaurant or traveling.

What a cute idea! So often the simple yet practical toys are the best and capture the kids' attention for the longest--plus like you said, they are compact and can be snuck into any bag!

Wow this would have been nice to have years ago. My son has graduated to putting his art on sketchpads ;-)
I love this! Since I have twins I always need help keeping them busy when we are in public, and this looks like such an easy way to bring something small along for them!
