Almost Naked Animals: Coming to DVD Sept 25!

As I've mentioned time and time again, life without cable has it's benefits AND downsides.  One channel Talker Man talks about is Cartoon Network.  When I signed up to check out the Almost Naked Animals DVD and some additional goodies, I thought it'd be something he would enjoy.

Now, I'll be honest, when I first opened the package, I was like, "They weren't kidding when they said almost naked animals!"  Talker Man was beside himself, he kept saying, "I've seen this!  This is my favorite show!  It's on Cartoon Network!"  So, well, apparently I wasn't paying as much attention to what he was watching as I thought I was, but judging from the way both boys sat quietly and watched this DVD almost all the way through, it's a huge hit with boys!  Little Man doesn't like wearing clothes and is usually running around half naked, just like the animals, so I'm thinking he enjoyed it for that as much as anything else!!

Almost Naked Animals is based on the quirky designs of Noah Z. Jones, (creator of Fish Hooks). Almost Naked Animals features an ensemble cast of underwear-clad animals, led by Howie, the fun-loving, hospitality challenged canine manager of the beachfront hotel, Banana Cabana.

This first season of Almost Naked Animals DVD is made of the following 6 episodes:

Employee of the Month
Duck Vinci Code

It's a little long for Little Man (age 2-1/2) to sit though, but Talker Man (age 5) has watched it more than once and sits quietly.  Well, as quietly as he can, there are parts he finds pretty hilarious!

I would definitely say this is more "boy" than girl, not really my style and probably wouldn't have been when I was in that age range of 6-11, but I can definitely see the appeal to the little guys!
