@oogaababy mealtime set #review

As you have probably figured out, if you've been reading my blog for any time at all, we try a LOT of different baby/kid products and fill you in on our likes and dislikes.  This, my friends, has to be one of my favorites.  It's a review that's been a LONG time coming, as you'll be able to see from the pictures, but even though it's actually been a few months since getting these to try, they're are still used DAILY in our home.  Sometimes more than once a day if I have to run the dishwasher after lunch.  They've my go-to bowls for the babies.

Oogaa silicone baby mealtime sets are AMAZING.  They're made of silicone, so from what I can tell they're basically indestructible.  They can be thrown on the floor (and ours have..MANY times) and they don't crack or break like plastic "kid friendly" dishes.  They can go in the microwave, dishwasher (on the bottom rack, no specialty instructions for these!) and even the OVEN.  That's right, if you're making something and your kid doesn't like a particular ingredient, make them a little plate separately and put it in the oven with the rest.  No big hassle.  The silicone is odorless, tasteless and don't support the growth of mold or bacteria.  Also, big bonus, if you forget to rinse out the oatmeal and it turns into a hard, caked on mess, just rinse it out and maneuver the silicone around -- the stuff pops right out!!

I wish that I'd known of these for kid one, they'd still be in use today and I probably would have saved money in the long run for all the cracked and broken bowls that we've gone through in the last 5 years.

Oogaa has silicone spoons as well, we got a couple of them to try out too!  They aren't particularly deep, so they don't work for anything "soupy" but they work well for little ones learning how to use it!   Little Man loves the train spoon, he "choo choos" his food all the way up to his mouth.  It's pretty cute.  And just like the bowls, they seem to be indestructible to kid-destruction.
